Privacy Policy

Everyone - including me - needs to comply with GDPR. So, here it is, my Privacy Policy. Just what you have all been waiting for!

If you have previously bought something from me, or come to my workshops, I may hold some information about you (your name and email address, possibly your postal address and telephone number). This page should tell you everything you need to know about how I collect, use and store this info. However, if you still have questions to ask, please get in touch.

Important: By 'information', I only mean your contact details. I never have access to any of your financial information when you make payments by PayPal or bank transfer. All such sensitive information is held securely by the processing companies and they never share it with me or anyone else.

How do I collect information?

Most people give me their contact details in writing at a workshop, or online through email or this website.

Whenever you order an artwork or sign up to a workshop, either directly or through my online shop on this website, you give me the information I need to process the order.

Wix, my website provider, has cookies enabled to ensure that your computer or other device is recognised when you revisit. You can find out more about cookies in general here.

Who has access to your information?

Me, me and nobody else but me. I am the only person who ever has access to your information and I will never, ever, ever pass it on to anyone else. Ever.

If you pay me using PayPal, they will hold their own information about you. You can read their privacy policy here.

How do I use your information?

I send out emails from time to time, to those who have signed up to my mailing list to receive information like this:

  • dates for your diary including workshops, exhibitions, etc.

  • information about new art and crafts I have created.

  • information about where you can see and buy.

  • from time to time I may share details of other artists or events which I think might interest you.

If you order some art, cards or a craftwork, or sign up to a workshop, you can expect to hear from me, using the contact information you have given me.

I also encourage members of the Healing Arts Group to join our WhatsApp group, to encourage contact and community.

How do I store your information?

Your contact details are stored on my password-protected personal iCloud account.

I keep an electronic spreadsheet of all customers on my password-protected iCloud account, solely for accounting and tax purposes (and therefore kept for six years before deletion).

Your rights

Any time you want, you can ask me about which of your information I am storing. I will send you full details free of charge. You also have the right to ask me to delete, amend or transfer any of your details. If you ever change your mind about what information (if any) you want me to have, just email me and let me know.

On the Which website, there is a really helpful article if you are wondering about all this kerfuffle about the GDPR.
